Domain Transfers
In order to start using your domain name with your hosting
account at Internet Enhancements, you must point your domain to
our name servers. If you need more assistance, please review
the

Tutorials prior to contacting our customer service department.
Follow these steps:
- In order to edit your DNS and point your domain name to
Internet Enhancements, you will need to visit the site at which
you originally registered your domain name.
- If you do not know which registry your domain name was
registered with, just
look up your domain name here.
- At your domain registrar's site, you will need to login
to their system using the username and password they assigned
you. Once you login, you will come across a link that allows
you to change your nameserver information. In that section,
please update your nameserver information to the following
(you will need to know what type of hosting account you
have with Internet Enhancements in order to proceed):

- Shared Nameservers:
Primary: ns.ie96.com
Secondary: ns2.ie96.com
- Business Hosting Nameservers:
Primary: ns10.ie96.com
Secondary: ns11.ie96.com
- VPS Nameservers:
Primary: vps.ie96.com
Secondary: vps2.ie96.com
Once your modifications have been submitted, it will take
24-48 hours before your new information will be visible on
the Internet. This 24-48 hour delay is due to zone file
propagation. The zone files, which update the Internet, are
not transferred instantaneously. They take at least 24 hours
to upload to the Main Root Servers which, in turn, spread
information throughout the Internet. This can create delays
of up to 48 hours before changes are visible in our WHOIS
database.
Optional: Transfer your registrar
If you are not happy with your present registrar because
renewal fees for your domain name are too expensive or because
their interface does not allow for easy domain information
updates, then transfer your domain name to our registrar services.
Note: If your domain name is within 2 weeks of renewal, you
must first renew at your previous registrar, then transfer
to us. Your domain name will then be renewed one year past
the new renewal date.
